Refund Policy — doble
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Version: 1.2
Effective from: 10 October 2026
Note: This is an English courtesy translation. The Spanish version is the legally binding one; in the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. In one line
If you paid for a doble plan and it wasn't for you, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we'll give your money back. No questions, no conditions.
The rest of this document explains how, where to write depending on how you paid, and what rights you have on top of this policy.
2. Thirty days before you pay
doble gives you 30 full trial days, with no card and no charge. The trial is ours, not the stores'. We don't want anyone paying without having used the app with their own data: if the trial ends and it didn't win you over, you don't have to do anything and you aren't charged.
So this policy exists for the remaining case: that you did pay and something fell short of what you expected.
3. The 14 days
You can request a refund within 14 calendar days of any charge, whether it's your first purchase or a renewal. We return the full amount of that charge.
We don't ask for explanations. If you want to tell us what happened we'll be grateful — it helps us improve — but it isn't a requirement.
4. Where to write, depending on how you paid
Who processes the refund depends on who charged you, and that isn't doble's decision.
4.1 If you paid on the website (doble.money)
The charge is processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as doble's merchant of record. Write to soporte@doble.money from your account's email address, or to Paddle directly at paddle.net, and we authorise the refund.
The money goes back to the same payment method you bought with. Paddle issues it in the days following the authorisation; when it shows up on your statement also depends on your bank or card, which usually takes another five to ten business days.
4.2 If you paid through the App Store
⚠️ Here doble cannot issue the refund, and that isn't an excuse: the charge never went through us. Apple charges on its own behalf and only Apple can return that money, under its own policies.
What we do: write to soporte@doble.money and we'll tell you the exact steps and walk you through the request. If Apple turns it down and your case is within this policy's 14 days, write to us again: we'll find a way to make it right.
- App Store: reportaproblem.apple.com
4.3 If you paid through Google Play
Here we issue it ourselves. Google lets us refund charges for our own app, so you don't have to deal with them: write to soporte@doble.money from your account's email and we'll take care of it.
The money goes back to the same payment method you used on Google Play. Google issues it over the following days; when it shows up on your statement also depends on your bank or card.
If you'd rather do it yourself, Google also handles direct requests at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
5. What happens to your account and your data
Once the refund is issued the subscription ends and your account switches to read-only mode: you keep access to all your information and can view and export it, but you can't record new transactions.
A refund does not delete your data. If you subscribe again later, everything is right where it was. And if you want us to delete your account, that's requested separately and the Privacy Policy explains how.
6. Your rights, which override this policy
This policy adds to what the law grants you and never replaces it.
- Colombia. You have the right of withdrawal under article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011 — five (5) business days from the purchase — and payment reversal in the cases set out in article 51 of the same law.
- European Union and United Kingdom. You have the fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal provided by your consumer legislation.
- Other jurisdictions. If your local law grants you an equivalent right to a refund or to withdraw, you may exercise it on the terms it sets.
If any of those rights gives you more than this policy does, whichever favours you most prevails.
7. After the 14 days
After the window you can cancel the renewal at any time and you won't be charged again; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. If you paid on doble.money, later requests are handled by Paddle under its buyer terms.
8. Shared plans
On duo and family plans, the person who subscribes is the only one liable for payment and the only one who can request the refund. Once it's issued, invited members also lose access to the plan's features, and their accounts likewise switch to read-only with nothing deleted.
9. How to request it
Write to soporte@doble.money from your account's email address, with:
- how you paid (website, App Store or Google Play);
- the approximate date of the charge.
Nothing else is needed. We answer from 7:00 to 20:00, Monday to Saturday.
10. Changes to this policy
We may amend this policy. Changes are published on this same page with their date, and they don't apply retroactively: a charge already made is governed by the version in force on the day of the charge.
